Terms of Service

1. Scope

These terms of service apply to the use of the Opt'o'moto platform (hereinafter "Platform"), operated by Christian Döhl, Am Gellert 6a, 85084 Reichertshofen, Germany. The platform is currently free to use.

2. Service Description

Opt'o'moto is a motorcycle tour planning platform for the Alps. It offers:

• Interactive overview of Alpine passes
• Tour planning with route calculation
• Weather forecasts for planned routes
• GPX import and export
• Community features (sharing, rating and commenting on tours)
• User profile with motorcycle management

3. Free Use & Planned Premium Version

The platform is currently completely free to use. A paid premium model offering extended features is planned for the future.

Users who register before the introduction of the premium model (beta users) will receive free premium access for one year from the date of the transition.

4. Registration

A registration with a valid email address and password is required to use certain features. Users must provide accurate information and keep their credentials confidential.

The user is responsible for all activities that take place through their account. In case of suspected unauthorized use, the operator must be notified immediately.

5. User Obligations

Users agree not to misuse the platform. In particular, the following is prohibited:

• Publishing unlawful, offensive or objectionable content
• Using the platform for spam or commercial advertising
• Automated access (bots, scrapers) without authorization
• Circumventing or disrupting security mechanisms

Respectful conduct is required within community features.

6. Disclaimer

The information provided on the platform regarding Alpine passes, routes, weather data and road conditions is for guidance purposes only. No guarantee is given for the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of this data.

Use of the platform and riding the displayed routes is at your own risk. Users are required to independently verify current road conditions, pass closures and weather conditions on site.

The operator is not liable for damages arising from the use of the information provided, unless there is intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

7. Availability

The operator strives for uninterrupted availability of the platform. However, there is no guarantee of permanent availability. Maintenance, technical issues or force majeure may cause temporary interruptions.

The operator reserves the right to modify, expand or discontinue the platform at any time.

8. Copyright

The content of the platform (texts, graphics, code) is protected by copyright. Reproduction or use beyond intended use requires the consent of the operator.

User-generated content (tours, ratings, reports) remains the property of the respective user. By publishing on the platform, the user grants the operator a simple, royalty-free right to display the content on the platform.

9. Final Provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. Should individual provisions of these terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is not affected.

The operator reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Registered users will be notified of material changes by email.
